Booster Weekly Update August 30

​Hello!
 
It seems strange to me that we're only one week into the school year, but have had 2 football games already!  Another great performance from the Marching Patriots this past Friday night (and from the Football Team as well!), as the band continues to work to fine tune their show.  Make sure you check it out this next Friday, as the next home game isn't until September 24.
 
Thank you to all the volunteers this week for helping out in various ways to support our students.  It definitely was a hot evening!

Rehearsal schedule
Here is this week's rehearsal schedule:
Monday ??? after school, 4pm-6pm
Tuesday ??? before school, 7:45am-8:45am (On the field and ready to go at 7:45!)
Wednesday - after school, 4pm-6pm
Thursday ??? before school, 7:45am-8:45am AND after school, 4pm-6pm
Friday ??? GAME DAY!  Students stay after school through the game.  Don't forget to bring to school what you need for the game!
 
Volunteer!
Here is the link to the Sign Up Genius for the football games.  We really need some help on Friday afternoon getting the drink and water coolers set up.  On these hot evenings, they go through a lot of water!   Please see how you can jump in.

Also, here is the competition sign up sheet.  The first competition is on September 25, which is getting closer every day.  There are a lot of open spots still on that list.  Please see how you can help.

Still looking for a treasurer!
We are still in need of someone to take on the treasurer role.  Kim has been kind enough to continue on, but it would be really helpful if someone could volunteer to help take this role on.  Please let me know if you are interested.
 
Booster Shout out!
Big shout out to our food guru, Carrie Eisenberg, as well as to Anne Etten who is assisting her this year.  There is a lot of work and coordination to be sure that the students get fed before every game (and soon for competitions).  Carrie has been handling the coordination of the food for several years now and we appreciate it! Thank you both for ensuring these students get something to eat!
 
Next Booster meeting
The next meeting of the Boosters will be Tuesday, September 14 at 7pm in the Band Room.  All are invited!
